Dustin Kruse
Dr. Kruse was born and raised in Ohio. He attended Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH, graduating in 2003 with a BS in Chemistry and a minor in sports medicine and biology. He received his Master’s degree in Medical Ethics from Case Western Reserve University in 2004. He then attended the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland graduating in the top of his class in 2008. Dr. Kruse then migrated to Denver to attend Highland’s-Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center 3-year foot and ankle surgical residency. Dr. Kruse graduated from residency in 2011 and joined Rocky Mountain Foot and Ankle Center.
Dr. Kruse is currently a co-owner of Rocky Mountain Foot and Ankle Center in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, focusing on all aspects of foot and ankle medicine and surgery with extensive training in reconstructive surgery. He is double-board certified in Foot and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Kruse is on the Faculty of the Highlands Presbyterian-St. Luke’s residency program where he serves as the Research Director. He currently is on the board of the Colorado Foot and Ankle Society serving as the President currently and previously as Scientific Chairman. Dr. Kruse currently serves on two committees for the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
In his free time Dr. Kruse enjoys spending time with his family particularly outdoors skiing, fly fishing, and hiking.
